Ash Seymour
Ash is a coach who believes exercise is one of the most powerful tools we have to improve quality of life, stay independent and build confidence at any age.
With a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science, Ash has a strong understanding of how the body moves, adapts and responds to training. She's currently working towards becoming an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
Her experience goes beyond the gym. Ash has worked as an Occupational Therapy Allied Health Assistant and a disability support worker, helping people of all ages and abilities improve their movement and everyday function.
Her background in Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting also gives her practical experience in strength development, technique and injury prevention.
Ash is especially passionate about working with older adults, building the strength, balance and mobility they need to stay active and independent. To her, strength training isn't just about lifting weights. It's about getting up off the floor, climbing stairs, travelling, keeping up with the grandkids and doing the things you love for as long as possible.
Every person is different, so Ash takes an individualised approach. She identifies what needs work, builds practical, progressive programs, and explains the purpose behind each exercise so you always know why you're doing it. Her sessions are supportive, and you'll feel comfortable and capable.
The most rewarding part of coaching for Ash is seeing people do things they didn't think were possible, whether that's a heavier lift, better balance or simply an easier day-to-day life.
